Salary Range: 1,800-2,200 USD depending on experience

About the role:
We are hiring a Creative Strategist to lead the creative direction behind paid advertising campaigns for premium outdoor and active lifestyle brands.
This role focuses on developing and managing the creative strategy roadmap for paid social campaigns. You will be responsible for identifying winning ad concepts, structuring creative testing plans, guiding creative production, and using performance insights to continuously improve results.
While this role collaborates closely with designers and video editors, the primary responsibility is strategic oversight of creative performance, ensuring the right ideas are produced, tested, and scaled over time.
This is not an organic social media role.
What You’ll Do
Creative Strategy Development
* Own the creative strategy roadmap across campaigns, product launches, and seasonal pushes
* Identify high-performing ad concepts and frameworks that can be adapted and scaled across accounts
* Develop creative testing plans to continuously improve campaign performance
* Translate brand positioning and product benefits into compelling advertising angles
* Ensure creative output aligns with both brand standards and performance objectives
Creative Direction & Production Oversight
* Provide clear direction to designers, editors, and creators on ad concepts, hooks, messaging, and formats
* Guide the development of static ads, motion graphics, and short-form video creative for paid social
* Review creative assets before launch to ensure they meet strategic and performance goals
* Maintain a consistent creative system that balances speed, quality, and brand integrity
Performance Analysis & Iteration
* Analyze ad performance metrics such as CTR, hook rate, hold rate, CPA, and ROAS
* Identify patterns and insights that inform future creative decisions
* Document creative learnings and share insights with the media buying and creative teams
* Iterate winning concepts through variations, testing new hooks, messaging, and formats
UGC Strategy & Creator Briefing
* Develop clear and strategic UGC creator briefs that guide creators toward high-performing content
* Provide direction on messaging angles, hooks, structure, and storytelling
* Identify opportunities to repeat and scale winning UGC formats across campaigns
* Ensure creator content aligns with campaign strategy and performance goals

* Consistent pipeline of new creative concepts ready for testing
* Improved ad performance through strategic creative iteration
* Clear documentation of creative insights and learnings
* Efficient collaboration with designers, editors, and media buyers
Requirements
* Experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or paid social advertising
* Strong understanding of what makes high-performing ad creative
* Experience working with paid social platforms such as Meta or TikTok
* Ability to analyze creative performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies
* Strong communication skills to guide creative teams and creators
* Highly organized and able to manage multiple campaigns and creative testing pipelines
Bonus (Not Required)
* Experience working with outdoor, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands
* Background in graphic design or video editing
* Experience working with UGC creators and influencer content
* Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or similar
