Automotive - Automotive Sales Eastern Cape FULL TIME Job Summary Job Responsibilities: * Direct the manufacturing engineers/ process specialists, in defining technical specifications for new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities including leading the projects launches and production transfers. * Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for the facility. * Support the development of target material & information flow analysis (MIFA) and plant layout. * Develop capital budget requirements to adhere to established facility standards. * Ensure the continuous development and coaching of manufacturing engineering team. * Direct plant manufacturing engineering standard applications and strategic intent. * Assure compliance of the documented quality system (IATF16949) and promote consistency throughout the organization * Uphold the company’s Code of Management and Code of Ethics. * Support the Maintenance manager when required with, repair and preventative maintenance for plant equipment; define and monitor quality/cost/delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening; computer aided maintenance management system for the plant Job Requirements: * B degree/Diploma in engineering, with a specialisation in mechanics and automation * At least 7 years of maintenance/engineering experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
