Automotive - Automotive Technician Eastern Cape FULL TIME Job Summary Education & Qualifications: * Grade 12 (Matric) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word essential) * Familiarity with OHS Construction Regulations (advantageous) * Technical certification in water treatment or a related field (preferred) * Plumbing qualification (advantageous, with filtration experience strongly preferred) Experience: * Minimum of 5 years’ experience installing or working with water filtration equipment * At least 2 years’ experience using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) * Proven ability to supervise staff and manage small teams * Experience in project management, production, and planning * Demonstrated competence in supervising and executing installation projects * Practical plumbing experience, particularly linked to filtration systems, will be highly beneficial Key Responsibilities Technical Duties: * Install, commission, and maintain water filtration plants and systems * Service, troubleshoot, and repair filtration equipment * Conduct water sampling and quality testing * Diagnose and resolve system faults * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Customer & Supplier Liaison: * Engage with suppliers to source appropriate filtration solutions * Assess client requirements and recommend suitable systems * Provide technical advice and ongoing support to clients * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers Administrative Functions: * Prepare accurate quotations and proposals using MS Word and Excel * Follow up on quotations and maintain client communication * Manage electronic job cards, ensuring timely updates and completion * Complete and submit vehicle inspection reports * Maintain confidentiality of client data and test results * Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain good housekeeping standards Additional Requirements * Willingness to travel to client sites * Ability to work both independently and within a team * Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with new technologies Health & Safety * Adhere to all health and safety regulations and standards * Work in a manner that ensures personal and team safety * Wear and maintain required PPE at all times * Use all safety equipment correctly and responsibly * Report any hazards, incidents, or accidents promptly * Take responsibility for personal health, safety, and environmental care Staff Solutions Recruiter
