Automotive - Automotive Sales Eastern Cape FULL TIME Job Summary Job Responsibilities: Production Operations: * Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. * Ensure production schedules are followed and downtime is minimized. * Monitor KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, cycle time, productivity). * Allocate manpower effectively across workstations. Team Leadership & Supervision: * Supervise, coach, and motivate production operators. * Conduct daily shift meetings and performance briefings. * Manage attendance, timekeeping, and shift rotations. * Identify training needs and support employee development. Continuous Improvement: * Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM). * Lead problem-solving activities using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys. * Identify process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Reporting & Documentation: * Maintain accurate production records and reports. * Track downtime, scrap, rework, and productivity metrics. * Report daily performance to management. Job Requirements:  * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. * 3–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role. * Strong knowledge of automotive production processes Staff Solutions Recruiter
