Job Summary
This role is suited to a motivated hospitality professional looking to grow into a senior management position within a high-standard environment. Supporting the Restaurant Manager, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service excellence, and assisting in team leadership. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Candidate Requirements:
* Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality Management (advantageous)
* 2 – 4 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior waiter role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic food and beverage knowledge
* Ability to lead and support a team
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Attention to detail and service excellence
* Ability to work under pressure
* Computer literacy and willingness to learn
Candidate Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing daily restaurant operations
* Support and guide the front-of-house team during service
* Ensure consistent service delivery and guest satisfaction
* Handle guest queries and feedback professionally
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and administration
* Maintain high service standards across all dining areas
* Step into a leadership role when required
* Support the Restaurant Manager with operational duties
