Premium Ad IT/Computer - Analyst Cape Town FULL TIME Job Summary a leading South African value retailer, specializing in affordable fashion, footwear, and essentials for families, with a strong focus on children and women's wear, is seeking a Business Analyst who will be a critical link between the business, Pepkor IT, and external vendors translating strategic objectives into optimal business processes and system functionality. Responsibilities: * Requirements & Solution Design: Assess, define, and translate user change requests into commercially viable technical solutions within the strategic framework. * Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface between business units and IT suppliers to manage expectations and project delivery. * Process Engineering: Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineers to ensure system solutions (Pick & Pack) align with warehouse layouts and operational flows. * Support & Maintenance: Provide high-level support to internal users, managing incident resolution and liaising with developers to fix system issues. * Testing & QA: Coordinate and execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and quality assurance for the Website, PIM, and Pick & Pack apps. * Training & Documentation: Develop detailed system documentation and SOPs; conduct workshops to build a high-performing "Super User" culture. Minimum Requirements: * Education: Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or Business Analysis. * Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, including 2+ years in Retail, Finance, or Consulting. * Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Visio. * Methodologies: Solid understanding of BABOK (Business Analysis) and PMBOK (Project Management). * Preferred/Advantageous: + Professional affiliation with the IIBA or a recognized Project Management body. + Experience in Online Commerce and Supply Chain integration. + Proven track record in change management and large-scale technology implementations.
