Employer: M3 Human Capital Management Rosenhof Nursery, located in Ceres, has the above-mentioned position available for a dynamic and eager-to-learn individual to join their team as a Junior Production Manager. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who is interested in nursery production and keen to gain hands-on experience. The successful candidate should be organised, willing to learn, and able to take initiative while working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): \*Assisting with the planning and management of the entire propagation process \*Monitoring planting schedules, irrigation, and fertigation programmes \*Supporting pest, disease, and weed control in coordination with technical advisors \*Inspecting plant quality, uniformity, and health \*Assisting with daily labour coordination \*Supporting budget tracking, procurement, and general production administration \*Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards \*Assisting with production planning based on orders \*Compiling and reporting on weekly production progress \*All other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Matric required; a relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture will be beneficial; • Previous experience in nursery production and/or propagation will be advantageous; • Basic knowledge of irrigation, fertigation, and plant care practices; • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); • Valid driver’s licence; Code 10 preferred.
