Job Summary
Key Requirements:
* Matric + Relevant tertiary qualification
* Insurance industry experience (ideal)
* 5+ years of experience within the full bookkeeping process
* Self-driven and independent personality
Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records, including capturing and reconciling transactions
* Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
* Perform bank and cashbook reconciliations on a regular basis
* Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
* Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting
* Manage invoicing, billing, and expense tracking
* Ensure compliance with financial policies and relevant regulations
* Maintain and organise financial documents and records for audit purposes
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding financial queries
* Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks
