The role involves managing machinists, coordinating workflow, and resolving production challenges. The successful candidate will monitor output, drive efficiency, and ensure smooth communication between departments. This position requires a hands-on leader with strong factory experience. Key Responsibilities * Manage and supervise a full production line * Ensure daily production targets are achieved * Monitor quality standards and address defects * Allocate work to machinists based on skill level * Oversee line balancing and workflow efficiency * Identify and resolve production bottlenecks * Monitor attendance and productivity of staff * Ensure adherence to production schedules * Liaise with Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing teams * Provide feedback to senior management on performance * Train and guide staff to improve output and quality * Maintain discipline and ensure factory procedures are followed Key Attributes * Strong leadership and team management skills * Good problem-solving ability * Ability to work under pressure * Strong communication skills * Attention to detail Requirements * 2+ years’ experience in a clothing manufacturing environment * Proven experience managing a production line * Strong understanding of garment construction and sewing operations * Knowledge of production processes and workflow management * Basic understanding of line balancing and efficiency tracking Remuneration R8 000 - R10 000 \*\*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted\*\ Fouche & Co Recruitment Recruiter
