Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the Public Health School on campus
* Drive excellence in teaching, learning, and student academic performance
* Monitor student results and implement targeted interventions for at-risk students
* Lead and develop academic staff through performance management and ongoing support
* Oversee curriculum delivery, academic material development, and assessment processes
* Support programme development and accreditation initiatives
* Collaborate with senior academic leadership and campus management
* Manage academic operations including student support, tracking, and academic administration
* Build and maintain strong industry relationships to support student placement and partnerships
* Represent the institution at industry forums, academic committees, and professional bodies
* Contribute to research output and promote a culture of scholarship
Minimum Requirements
* Master’s Degree in Public Health or a related field (NQF Level 9)
* 3–5 years’ experience in teaching and learning within higher education
* At least 2 years’ experience in an academic management or leadership role
* Strong understanding of higher education regulatory frameworks

Additional Information
* Lecturing responsibilities: Up to 2 modules per semester (or reduced load if involved in research)
* Involvement in research, student supervision, and academic initiatives is expected
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
