Engineering - Engineering Management Howick FULL TIME Job Summary Main Job Responsibilities: − Carry out daily plant checks as instructed − Be prepared to work overtime when and as required − Carry out repairs to motors, control equipment and other electrical equipment − Accurately record all work done on job card or on planned maintenance schedules  − Report all serious defects and /or defects which could not be repaired to the Electrical section engineer                   − Carry out planned maintenance schedules as instructed − Carry out safety inspections on equipment and plant as instructed − Undertake installation and modification of equipment and plant as instructed − Undertake any reasonable request of the electrical section engineer or engineering manager − Assist the electrical foreman with the efficient running of the electrical department Qualification and Experience: − Theory training in the electronic trade, equivalent to N3 − Practical training and qualified with trade Test of Electrician − Basic training in AC & DC variable speed drives − Basic training in PLD’s Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: − Thorough knowledge and understanding of electricity, electronic equipment and the  tools used in the industry. − Thorough knowledge and understanding of power, reticulation and process type of equipment , ranging from 12V to 11Kv Kerry Kopp Consulting Recruiter
