Employer: The Building Company Introduction: To participate in a structured Wholesale & Retail learnership programme that integrates classroom-based learning with practical in-store/workplace experience, leading to a nationally recognised qualification on the NQF framework. Description: + Attend all theoretical training sessions facilitated by the training provider + Complete assessments, assignments, and Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) in line with W&RSETA requirements + Perform workplace duties related to retail operations, including: - Assisting customers and delivering basic customer service - Merchandising and replenishing stock - Supporting point-of-sale (POS) operations (where applicable) - Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping standards + Follow company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices Requirements: + Unemployed and eligible for a W&RSETA learnership + Minimum qualification: Grade 12 + Basic numeracy and literacy skills + South African citizen (as per funding requirements) + Clear criminal record + Willingness to work retail hours (including weekends/public holidays where applicable) + Must not have completed an unemployed learnership before
