Pay@, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing team based in Stellenbosch. This role supports the development and delivery of innovative payment products by translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring alignment across teams.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter with strong analytical skills who enjoys working with documentation and detail. They communicate effectively across all levels and functions of the business, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while confidently bridging the gap between business and technical teams.
Responsibilities include:
• Gathering and documenting business and reporting requirements.
• Translating business needs into functional documentation.
• Documenting procedures and workflows.
• Supporting project delivery and backlog grooming within the PMO.
• Managing requirement changes and maintaining BA documentation.
• Supporting UAT and ensuring features meet requirements.
• Continuously improving analysis tools and processes.
• All other tasks related to the role.
Minimum requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification;
• 3-5 years' of similar business analysis experience;
• Strong understanding of the payments environment (retailers, digital, banking, card schemes, EFT, settlement, acquiring, etc.) is crucial to the role;
• Full understanding of the Microsoft suite, Draw.IO, Jira, Confluence and Visio;
• Valid driver’s license, own transport;
• Fluent in business English; additional languages will be seen as beneficial.
