Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Group Tax Manager to join their team. Main purpose will be to manage various direct and indirect taxes within the group.
Minimum Requirements…
Essential:
* Grade 12 / Matric
* Bcom Honours, Mcom or HDipp Tax or CA(SA) with tax experience
* Accounting, Tax, IFRS, Tax administration Act, Income Tax Act
* 5 Years working experience in a similar role
Advantage:
* Merger and acquisition experience
Job Specification…
* Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
* Build relationships and interact with tax advisors to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
* Submit income tax and provisional returns
* Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
* Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
* Manage and coordinate tax audits
* Maintain tax balances on general ledger
* Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests
* Manage VAT and PAYE personnel
* Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters
* Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the Group
* Manage external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally
* Review current and deferred tax provision
* Dispute resolution
* Mergers and acquisitions
* Maintain SARS e-filing
* Respond to technical queries
