⭐ Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Executive to join our Merchant Business Unit in Namibia. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for expanding digital payment solutions within the informal and small‑business sector.
You will play a crucial role in driving new sales, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring merchants experience the full value of our products and services. This position requires strong commercial insight, technical capability, and confidence working in dynamic, informal markets.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
📈 Sales & Growth Delivery
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Identify, approach, and convert new merchant opportunities
• Conduct needs analysis and propose relevant product solutions
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and detailed pipeline updates
• Share insights, challenges, and solutions with management
• Process all contracts accurately to support seamless onboarding
🛠 Product Deployment & Technical Support
• Install devices and ensure full product functionality during onboarding
• Conduct first-level troubleshooting when required
• Ensure ongoing product visibility and availability across your territory
🤝 Customer & Market Engagement
• Build strong relationships with small businesses and informal merchants
• Clearly communicate product benefits in a simple, relatable way
• Collaborate with sales colleagues to identify up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities
• Identify new trading zones, hotspots, and business clusters to expand reach
🧾 Administration & Reporting
• Maintain up-to-date call cycles, visit logs, and territory plans
• Update CRM systems with accurate customer and activity data
• Submit timely reports that support operational and strategic decisions

Sales & Commercial Strength
• Proven track record in a tech-based, product-led, or fintech sales environment
• Ability to engage and influence small business owners confidently
• Strong consultative sales style with excellent problem-solving skills
Technical Capability
• Ability to install devices and support basic troubleshooting
• Confidence explaining technical features in a customer-friendly way

• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and target-driven
• Well‑presented, confident, and effective communicator
• Ethical, disciplined, and skilled at managing time efficiently
• Able to relate well within informal and small‑business environments
• Passionate about continuous learning and product mastery
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales (preferred but not mandatory)
• Proven experience in sales within fintech, FMCG, telecoms, or technical fields
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
• Reliable motor vehicle with a valid car license
