REQUIREMENTS:
* 2 years min in a similar role
* Corporate experience preferred
* MS Office
* Social Media Platforms experience
* Grade 12 / Matric
DUTIES:
* Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media professionals and secure media coverage.
* Prepare responses to media inquiries after discussing with the relevant role players within the company.
* Communication Strategy: Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the organization's mission, vision, and objectives
* Content Creation: Prepare press releases, social media posts, and other communication materials and distribute after being approved.
* Crisis Management: Manage crisis communication, respond to negative media coverage, client complaints and mitigate reputational damage after discussing with the relevant role players within the company.
* Event Management: Organize and manage events, such as corporate functions and staff functions.
* Social Media Management: Manage social media accounts, create content, and engage with followers.
* Monitor and report on actives and comments on social media platforms.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with stakeholders, including clients and community stakeholders.
* Internal Communication: Communicate with employees and management regarding marketing and events.
* Brand Management: Protect and promote the organization's brand identity.
* Reporting and Analysis: Monitor media coverage, analyze communication effectiveness, and provide reports to management.
* Promotional material and Gifts: Sourcing promotional materials and gifts as and when required.
TENDERS :
* Identifying Opportunities: Research and identify tender opportunities that align with the organization's capabilities and interests.
* Reviewing Tender Documents: Carefully review the tender documents, including the request for proposal (RFP), terms and conditions, and evaluation criteria.
* Gathering Information: Collect relevant information and data required for the tender, including company information, technical specifications, and pricing.
* Preparing the Tender Response: Write and compile the tender response, ensuring it meets the requirements and evaluation criteria.
* Ensuring Compliance: Ensure the tender response complies with the tender requirements, including formatting, content, and submission deadlines.
* Coordinating with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to gather information and ensure the tender response is accurate and complete.
* Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit the tender response for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors.
* Obtaining Approvals: Obtain necessary approvals and sign-offs from management or other stakeholders before submitting the tender.
* Submitting the Tender: Submit the tender response before the deadline, ensuring it is in the required format and to the correct recipient.
* Follow-up: Respond to any further questions or requirements from the tendering authority.
* Maintaining Records: Maintain accurate records of tenders submitted and all documents compiled, including the tender response, correspondence, and outcome by saving it in the Tender folder.

* Monday - Friday 08h00 - 17h00
