Employer: Hire Resolve A leading industrial engineering company is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with strong experience in technical/solutions sales within industrial environments (such as rotating equipment, engineered components, or reliability solutions) to join their team in KwaZulu-Natal. This role focuses heavily on distributor engagement and development, requiring a commercially astute individual who can drive revenue growth through value-based selling and strong client relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with an outgoing incumbent to ensure a smooth handover and continuity within the region. Responsibilities: * Drive revenue and margin growth within the KZN territory * Develop and manage distributor and channel partner relationships * Conduct regular client visits, including plant and site engagements (70% travel) * Deliver value-based, technical solution selling to customers * Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting using CRM tools * Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts * Collaborate internally to ensure customer satisfaction and solution delivery Requirements: * BSc/BEng/BTech in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field) * 5–8 years’ experience in technical/solutions sales within industrial environments * Proven experience working with distributors or channel partners * Strong understanding of mechanical/engineered products and applications * Valid driver’s license * Willingness to travel extensively within the region * Ability to reside in or relocate to Central Durban or within a 40km radius * Strong commercial acumen, communication, and relationship-building skills Benefits: * Salary: negotiable.
