Apprenticeship: Panel Beater / MechanicalTo assist qualified panel beaters in repairing damaged vehicle bodies while learning the trade through hands-on experience and structured training. The apprentice will develop skills in metalwork, vehicle restoration, and workshop safety standards.Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Repair & Workshop SupportAssist in repairing damaged vehicle panels (dents, scratches, structural damage)Help remove and refit vehicle parts (bumpers, doors, fenders, trims)Support panel beating tasks such as sanding, grinding, filling, and polishingPrepare vehicles for spray painting (masking, cleaning, priming)Use basic tools and equipment under supervisionLearning & DevelopmentFollow instructions from qualified panel beaters and supervisorsAttend training sessions and complete apprenticeship modulesLearn how to use workshop tools, machinery, and repair techniquesBuild knowledge of vehicle structures and materialsHealth & SafetyFollow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirementsKeep work areas clean and hazard-freeProperly handle tools, chemicals, and equipmentGeneral DutiesAssist with moving vehicles within the workshopHelp with parts handling and storageMaintain tools and equipment in good conditionPerform general housekeeping duties in the workshop
Qualifications:
* Grade 10–12 (Matric preferred)
* Interest in automotive repair and mechanical work
* Basic understanding of tools (advantageous but not required)
* Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment

* Strong work ethic and reliability
