The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): \*Management of all technical and operational aspects of fruit cultivation \*Collaborating with technical advisors and applying their insights to enhance production outcomes \*Leading and managing the production managers \*Ensure compliance to international market requirements \*Health and safety (OHS 16.2 appointee) \*Financial management and budgets \*Personnel Development \*All other tasks related to this position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • A relevant tertiary qualification; • A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture will be advantageous; • Minimum 5 years’ experience at a senior production management level; • Experience in the apple and pear industry will be advantageous; • Good interpersonal and communication skills (Afrikaans essential); • Valid driver’s license.
