Must have 3+ yrs post-trade test exp of maintenance/ repairs in a food factory & workshop/be experienced in computerised maintenance mngt systems/document repair/maint activities in a CMMS. Must have strong mech skills/be able to read/interpret technical manuals/schematics/manufacture parts on a lathe & milling m/c from drawings. Maintain a safe/clean work environment/adhere to safety SOPs/regulations/perform mechanical repairs on filler equipment/pumps/motors/conveyors/ repair/replace defective parts/components/perform prevent maint on equipment /ensure optimal performance/longevity. Report work/breakdowns through systems/conduct regular inspections/ ensure equipment operate at peak performance/uphold highest safety standards. Address HSE requirements/hazards. Contribute insights to maint trends for process improvements. On a relieve basis must be able to provide a comprehensive engineering/maint service to all operations at the food factory/conduct routine inspections of production lines/ equipment/identify/trouble-shoot issues/perform preventive maint.
