Sponsored Ad Engineering - Plant/Maintenance Engineering Port Shepstone FULL TIME R120,00 - R200,00 (PER HOUR) Approx Monthly Salary: R20 796,00 - R34 660,00 On-site Job Summary Key Competencies • Precision machining (conventional Lathe) • Precision milling (conventional milling machine) • Strong Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience • Radial arm drilling • Problem solving • Thread cutting • Mechanical aptitude • Quality control awareness • Physical strength to safely handle mechanical parts weighing up to 25kg • Experience in MIG welding and building up shafts • Agri engineering background will be an advantage Key Responsibilities • Operate conventional lathe, milling machines, and drilling equipment to turn, face, thread, and bore • Manufacture and refurbish shafts, sleeves, housings, and other components • Machining parts for Hydraulic cylinders with accuracy • Machine worn or damaged parts to restore equipment functionality • Thread cutting / fitting of Helical thread inserts • Interpret engineering drawings and machining tolerances • Ensure all machined parts meet required tolerances and specifications • Conduct precision measurements and quality checks on machined parts • Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on machines and tools • Ensure adherence to quality control and safety procedures Required Skills • Turner Machinist: Minimum 6 to 10 years’ Experience
