Role Overview:
This position combines procurement (buying) and reception duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing supplier purchasing while maintaining a professional and welcoming front office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement / Buying:
• Source and procure materials, components, and services required for production
• Request and compare supplier quotations
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers
• Generate and manage purchase orders
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production to avoid shortages
• Maintain accurate supplier and pricing records
• Follow up on deliveries and resolve supply issues
Reception / Administration:
• Manage the front desk and welcome visitors professionally
• Answer and direct incoming calls and emails
• Handle general administrative duties (filing, scanning, document control)
• Coordinate couriers and deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organised reception area
• Assist management with ad hoc administrative tasks.
