Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage payroll tax calculations across multiple jurisdictions ensuring accurate gross-to-net processing within country-specific frameworks
* Prepare and review monthly and annual payroll tax filings across relevant countries
* Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll tax discrepancies
* Liaise with local in-country stakeholders for query resolution
* Any additional related ad-hoc tasks
Requirements:
* Minimum Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF Level 7)
* Proven operational payroll and/or tax experience in multi jurisdiction or cross-border environments.
* Direct ownership of payroll tax submissions
* Strong understanding of compliance risk within international payroll structures.
* Advanced Excel capability (including lookup functions, nested IF statements, pivot tables, data reconciliation).
* Strong analytical and investigative mindset
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to operate effectively under strict global deadlines across time zones.
* Clear and professional written communication skills (client-facing exposure preferred)
Preferred Experience:
* Experience within an Employer of Record (EOR), global payroll provider, or multinational organization.
* Exposure to payroll/ tax complexities such as:
* Cross-border tax implications
* Intercompany transactions
* Tax Authority Communications
* Multi-country reconciliations
* Experience managing high-volume or high-growth environments.
