RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading construction company delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across South Africa are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee a major project in Kimberley, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all on-site activities, including planning, execution, and supervision of construction works.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Monitor project progress, costs, and resources, and report to senior management.
* Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and relevant stakeholders.
* Oversee project documentation, site records, and progress reports.
* Assist with setting out and checking levels where required
* Identify and report potential risks or delays
Requirements:
* BTech or BEng qualification (No diplomas will be considered).
* Pr CM registration with SACPCMP or Pr Eng registration with ECSA
* Proven experience in one or more of the following: airport runways, taxiways, taxi lanes, aprons, highways, new roads, or major road rehabilitations.
* Project experience must exceed a value of R30 million.
* Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and ensure timely delivery of complex projects.
