About the company and the role
A boutique investment firm supporting institutional transactions and capital markets activity across public and private markets. As the firm continues to scale, we are looking to hire an Investment Banking Research Analyst to support research, deal execution, and investor-facing initiatives.
This role will work closely with the Head of Research and senior advisors to expand research coverage, support live transactions, and contribute to investment insights distributed to institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct equity and market research across sectors (primarily public markets)
* Build and maintain financial models, valuations, and investment summaries
* Support deal execution, including preparing materials for capital raises and transactions
* Assist in producing investor-facing research and reports
* Analyze companies, industries, and market trends to inform investment decisions
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders on research coverage and pipeline development
Requirements
* 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, asset management, or similar
* Strong understanding of financial markets, valuation, and investment concepts
* Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
* Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise insights
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
Nice to Have
* Experience covering public equities or institutional-grade research
* Exposure to capital markets transactions or investor communications
* Familiarity with tools like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar
