Job Summary:
The Executive Steward is responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen and dining area cleanliness and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas. This position requires excellent organizational and leadership skills as well as a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.
2. Manage and train kitchen and dining staff on proper cleaning procedures.
3. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen and dining areas.
6. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols.
7. Monitor and evaluate the performance of kitchen and dining staff.
8. Handle any customer complaints or issues related to cleanliness or sanitation.
9. Assist in budget planning and cost control measures for cleaning supplies and equipment.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
