Job Purpose
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance in a designated region, managing reseller partnerships, supporting Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) planning, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role is critical to growing fiber network adoption through strategic planning, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder relationships.
Minimum Requirements
+ Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4)
+ 3+ years’ experience in sales management, preferably in the telecommunications or fiber industry.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
+ Strong computer literacy (MS Office, CRM tools).
Description
+ Drive subscriber acquisition and achieve national and focus area net subscriber targets.
+ Identify, plan, and track MDU opportunities for fiber deployment and customer acquisition.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic resellers, clients, and key stakeholders.
+ Lead, coach, and manage a team to meet and exceed targets.
+ Ensure timely reporting, data accuracy, and effective use of sales resources.
+ Develop and support resellers to improve channel performance and compliance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
+ Achieve national and focus area subscriber targets.
+ MDU sales pipeline coverage and conversion.
+ Reseller productivity and alignment with business goals.
+ Sales team performance and retention.
+ Quality of reporting and planning.
+ Customer feedback and relationship health.
