An exciting opportunity exists for a BI Operations Analyst at Field Marketing Division in Bryanston. The BI Operational Analyst is to add value to business area in terms of application functionality, high level BI reporting, and innovative technology recommendations. The incumbent will be required to have the knowledge of all processes within the business area and will lead, analyse and modify business processes as required. Incumbent will also be tasked with the duty of collecting, processing and distributing large data in accordance with the policies of organization. The operations analyst will do a proper analysis, advise and/or challenge the status quo to advise on preferred solution that is secure & stable, that would benefit the business. Provide meaningful and objective feedback for Management on projects and requests from business.

Key Performance Areas:
Business Process/ System Improvements
- Participate in business process improvement projects with the aim to continually improve efficiency of the business area and provide leading insights.
- Plan, design and implement new processes and systems by conducting research and analysis, establishing and implementing effective solutions in line with client and business approved needs. e.g. Scope documents, business cases, business requirements, process flows.
- Facilitate alignment of business unit strategy with client and customer strategy.
- Monitor and maintain processes/ systems to ensure sustainability of operations (including Vehicle tracking system)
- Suggest and plan for systems and processes enhancements by utilising a specialist understanding of system architecture to implement the latest data mining and data modelling tools.
- Audit processes and systems to ensure business needs are met through automated solutions.
- Providing training that will improve business skill and understanding SAP and third-party systems
- Drive innovation through change management and enhancements of current technologies
- Maintain applicable databases
- Liaise with stakeholders to establish and address needs to develop outputs
- Manage system project-specific to ensure quality and data integrity
- Plan, design and implement new processes and systems in line with client and business approved needs
- Assist with implementation of technological change as and when required from a project accountability perspective to ensure business remains relevant
Project Management
- Elicit, scope, structure and validate all business change requests
- Accountable for the management of system projects. Ensure quality and data integrity through extensive testing, database design standards
- Provide key input in design systems which will benefit the business and the end user.
- Creating user friendly dashboards through the use of Power BI/ Power Apps and coordinate all insights to ensure better reporting and dashboards.
- Creating new BI reports and dashboards by utilizing the latest data mining and modelling tools.
- Ensure that mobility apps are relevant and user friendly.
Mobility
- Be the mobility champion for Field Marketing
- Analyze and investigate solutions to enhance our service offering and create innovation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to find solutions to drive technological efficiencies and better ways of doing business
- Be the project champion during setup, trial and implementation phase
- Develop training material and present training to end users
- Be the point of contact for all queries, along with the service desk, to ensure business is running efficiently regarding all mobility apps, plus create working solutions with stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement
- Look for innovation to enhance mobility and technology
Management of Information
- Daily Sales Report sent out by 09:00.
- Align reports to objective of business.
- Compilation of monthly reports e.g. Risk Report, Vehicle Report, Injury on duty reporting.
- Updates are done timeously
- Compile and submit reports for auditing purposes
- Speeding ratios observation and to come in line with target
- Maintain effective and efficient systems, processes and procedures and facilitate improvements/enhancements
- Audit systems to ensure compliance and identify enhancements
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure we are supplying relevant information and reports
- Conduct checks on scorecard, missing scorecard, missing store checks, and run updates
- Load Scorecards and audits
- Prioritise and assist with projects to improve on mobility outputs and applications
Integrate Operational/ Client and Customer Insights
- Facilitate alignment of business unit strategy with client and customer strategy
- Analyse operational intelligence to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate all insights to ensure better reporting and dashboards
- Relationship Building with various stakeholders (internal and external)
- Integrate Operational/Client and Customer insights

- Commercial acumen regarding costing of various business initiatives
- Be FM custodian of all insights and data requirements
Adhoc
- New user / APN Setup

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- 3-5 years BI experience
- Reporting Services, Vehicle Tracking, Mobility app experience, Analyzing data, Dashboard Development
- Configuration, development and testing of dashboards
- Project Management
- Budget management experience
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Informatics, SQL Server
- Relevant IT qualification / computer studies, Risk Management
Additional Requirements:
- Travel is required
