Role Purpose:To oversee the business's financial strategy, ensuring solid financial governance, long-term growth, and sound financial management. The CFO will provide strategic financial knowledge to support executive decision-making and long-term business performance.Key Responsibilities-Create and implement a financial plan that is in line with company goals.-Supervise forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.-Make that all tax, regulatory, and IFRS/GAAP regulations are followed.-Control capital structure, funding methods, and cash flow.-Oversee internal controls, audit procedures, and risk management.-Provide financial performance and strategic opportunity advice to the CEO and Board.-Develop and oversee the finance staff.Minimum Requirements-Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.-Professional qualification (CA(SA), CPA, ACCA, or CIMA).-MBA or postgraduate qualification (advantageous).Experience Required-Minimum 5 years’ experience in CFO/FD role in FMCG or Manufacturing business with turnover R300m plus per annum-Proven history in financial strategy, planning, and execution.-Strong experience in financial reporting, compliance, and risk management.Key Competencies-Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.-Advanced financial analysis and critical thinking skills.-Strong leadership and stakeholder management.-High level of integrity and governance focus.-Excellent communication and presentation skills.RemunerationCompetitive executive package, based on experience.VERY IMPORTANT RECRUITER NOTES:1.Confidentiality – NO mention of the company – Use a Company based in Gauteng2.Salary is not specified – Competitive package based on experience.3.Obtain all qualifications and relevant documents and send together with CV for selected candidates.
