Employer: Vine Recruitment A well-established wine farm situated between Paarl and Stellenbosch is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Bookkeeper to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Process and reconcile daily bank transactions Manage customer and supplier accounts, including reconciliations, payments, and month-end procedures Maintain accurate financial records, including: Daily reconciliation of software integrations Intercompany accounts Control accounts Capture and process bi-weekly payroll You will report directly to the Financial Manager and assist with audit preparation and various ad hoc financial duties as required. Minimum Requirements: Computer literate with strong proficiency in accounting systems Experience with Xero and Dext (essential) Minimum of 2 years’ relevant bookkeeping experience Ability to work independently and remain composed under pressure Strong analytical and organisational skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport Preferred Attributes: High attention to detail Strong work ethic and accountability Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively If you meet the above criteria and are looking to grow your career in a dynamic agricultural environment, we encourage you to apply.
