About Our Client & The Role We are exclusively representing a top-tier European engineering consultancy. They operate strictly in the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Basic Engineering, and Detailed Engineering phases. They do not do physical construction, installation, or site maintenance.
We are looking for the intellectual mastermind behind the intelligence, communication, protection, and control of high-voltage substations. You will design the "nervous system" of the national grid, ensuring safe integration of renewable energy sources.
Visa & Experience Requirements:
Due to strict Dutch Highly Skilled Migrant (HSM) Visa salary thresholds, we are targeting:
* Young Professionals: Approx. 3 to 4 years of pure design experience (Must be under 30 years old at the time of application).
* Senior Experts: 10+ years of pure design experience.
What You Will Do (The Design Tasks)
Your daily intellectual production includes:
* Designing, drafting, and calculating comprehensive electrical schematics for control, measurement, and protection of primary components.
* Creating complex interlocking logic in Boolean schematics to mathematically prevent unsafe switching operations.
* Writing detailed protection philosophies, calculating actual relay settings (protection setting files), and designing architecture drawings for SCADA and telecontrol integration.
* Meticulously preparing and writing Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) protocols.
