o Proactively engage with prospective customers via showroom floor, online leads, telephonic inquiries, and referrals.
o Conduct professional vehicle presentations, test drives, and product demonstrations.
o Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles and value-added products (warranties, service plans, finance options).
o Negotiate trade-in values and finalise sales deals in line with dealership policies.
o Maintain regular follow-ups with potential and existing customers to secure repeat business.
o Complete all sales documentation accurately (offer to purchase, finance applications, trade-in appraisals).
o Ensure compliance with F&I, POPIA, and other applicable automotive retail regulations.
o Work closely with the F&I Manager to secure finance approvals and insurance arrangements.
o Maintain updated vehicle stock lists and pricing on dealership and third-party platforms.
o Ensure all vehicles on display are clean, well-presented, and correctly priced.
o Assist with vehicle photos and descriptions for online marketing.
o Monitor the condition of used stock and report any issues to management.
o Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and gross profit targets.
o Contribute to dealership CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) targets through professional service.
o Track personal performance and proactively seek improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
Education: Grade 12
Previous experience as a sales executive in a dealership environment (used vehicles preferred).
o Computer literacy (MS Office, Dealer Management Systems, online lead platforms).
• Product knowledge of Toyota vehicles and competitors’ models.
o Strong sales and negotiation skills.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
o High energy level and results-driven mindset.
