Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
* Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery
Procurement Management
* Oversee procurement processes, ensuring alignment with policies and budget constraints
Logistics and Distribution
* Manage logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
Inventory Control
* Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimising excess stock
Supplier Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure reliability of supply
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with sales, production, and finance teams to ensure alignment
Performance Analysis
* Analyse supply chain data to identify opportunities for improvement
Team Leadership
* Lead and develop teams across distribution, warehousing, procurement, and raw materials, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Chartered Accountant qualification
* 3–5 years’ experience in a commercial and/or supply chain management or executive role
* 2–3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
* Experience in an organisation managing its own fleet of trucks
* Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems
* Proven ability to manage budgets and financial targets
