To manage CUT’s internationalisation project as it pertains to assistance with and advising on international Academic Partnerships, externally funded projects, and coordination of the international partnerships.
Main tasks
1. Manage and administer International Academic Partnerships
2. Manage externally international funding to support partnerships and comprehensive internationalisation
3. Manage the reporting on international partnership
4. Develop implementation processes to support international partnership
5. Promote CUT profile to international partners and networks
6. Evaluate and monitor the projects
7. Evaluate and monitor the projects and programmes
8. Conduct / publish / present research
Nature of appointment: Permanent Support Services
Minimum salary scale (Total Cost to Company): R 1 235 235 per annum (2026 salary scales to be confirmed)

Accordingly, the preferred candidate may expect an offer that is in line with their qualifications and years of similar experience. Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience
* A master’s degree in Higher Education Studies or equivalent qualification (NQF 9).
* Five (5) years’ relevant experience in international academic partnerships in a Centre for Global Engagement environment.
Desired Qualification, Knowledge and/or Experience
* PhD/Doctorate or evidence of good progress towards a PhD.
* More than five (5) years’ relevant experience in international academic partnerships in a Centre for Global Engagement environment
