Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Client Onboarding & Documentation: Manage client interactions, including documentation, queries, and overseeing the onboarding process for new clients while ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements such as FICA.
* Transaction Processing & Settlement: Executing trade instructions, provide accurate rate quotes and ensure the timely and accurate settlement of foreign exchange transactions.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring transactions meet regulatory standards such as SARB, Exchange Control, FICA, and managing risks.
* Reporting & Administration: Update and maintain internal systems with client and transaction data for reporting purposes.
* Client & Internal Support: Resolving queries regarding trades, liaising with banks, and managing daily client interactions.
* Tax Support: Assisting with tax-related documents, gathering financial information, and communicating tax matters clearly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Attention to Detail: High accuracy and precision.
* Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Identifying and resolving operational queries efficiently.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Word, and learning specific trading platforms.
* Time Management & Organization: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
* Experience: 1– 3 years of relevant experience is an advantage.
* Education: Financial Degree or Diploma, MS Office Proficiency, SARS E-filing, RE5.
