Engineering - Other Engineering East Rand FULL TIME Job Summary Accounts Clerk / Assistant to FM\_Engineering Location: East Rand Salary: R 18 000.00 gross per month Our client in the engineering sector is looking for a suitable Accounts Clerk that will also act as the Assistant to the Financial Manager. The individual is to assist our accounts FM with various account functions as well as sales, stores receiving departments to check accuracy of forex and freight calculation charges. A proactive, confident person is envisaged who is not afraid to pick up the phone and request money from sometimes difficult clients or resolve other problems that may arise without procrastinating. Job description: • Local Creditors (full function) • Debtors • Full Foreign Creditors function • Full Cashbook function - processing all bank transactions on Accpac system (including Nedfleet and company credit cards), reconciliation to bank statements and control accounts in General Ledger, preparation of daily cash flow schedule, cash transfers on Netbank Business system. Preparing for and attending monthly cash flow meeting (3 companies) • Weekly wages - factory and site personnel on VIP system (1 company, +/- 10 employees) • Preparation of monthly returns e.g. PAYE, UIF, Skills Levy, Metal Industries, Union, garnishee orders and payment by due dates. • Nedfleet (new card applications, cancellation of old cards, checking & analysing reports); • Tracker (adding and removing tracking systems for company vehicles) • Assisting the Financial Manager with HR - medical aid scheme and provident funds, following up on medical aid queries, punching of General Ledger journals. • General Ledger reconciliations and preparation of schedules for financial year-end audit. • Supervision of work handed over to Receptionist. • General - filing, assistance with switchboard etc. Requirements: • Matric • Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook, Accpac, VIP Classic, Fingerprint clocking system Individual to have valid driver's license and own transport • Fully bilingual English / Afrikaans Send your CV and latest pay slip to AtripleA Recruitment and Temps www.aaaa.co.za AtripleA recruitment & temps Recruiter
